Chouseki means tide in Japanese reflecting this bowl's stunning pattern - sea blue glaze merges with a speckled sandy gold glaze like waves on the shore.

The Chouseki curved oblong plate is ideal for serving selections of sushi. Try maki, the classic sushi roll wrapped in seaweed, and California rolls, the popular Western reimagining of maki with rice on the outside, usually coated in sesame seeds or fish roe. You can also use the Chouseki oblong plate to serve tempura king prawns or teriyaki chicken skewers.
